#stillness

Today I got up early so I could sit outside and just listen to my breath and the nature in movement around me. I got to be still. The sun wasn’t quite up yet but daylight was present, it was cool and the breeze was active. In my stillness a voice said remember to find this place when you feel tired, defeated or lost. This is your true home, where the heart is. I am grateful for this message from my spirit as I have been feeling disconnected from my heart lately and let me tell you, it’s not a pleasant experience and it affects everyone around me. I am committed to a daily practice to stay centered and connected.

Peace, light and heart!

all else is poor translation.”

#Breath!

Breath work class… what is it you say? its a 3 part breath workout to help release stored emotional energy trapped in the body. I started this work about 18 months ago and it has transformed my life.

I studied with a Shamanic breath work teacher for 10 months and now when I have off days… my energy is heavy and stagnate and I can’t find inspiration or hope anywhere. I go to class and work on my breathing.

Wow ! the emotional release is TRUELY amazing.

Today i woke up and wanted to cry but couldn’t place my tears. nothing was wrong, work, family friends all in tact and going smoothly, my rational brain scans and reports back, but i still wanted to cry.

What i realize is that sometimes we have to take action and shake up the dust of our emotions to find our vitality again. Breath-work does that for me.

I cried, I laughed, I felt a deep sense of love and gratitude in my heart after the 40 minute breath work class.
